Theia Interactive Awarded Epic MegaGrant to Accelerate Development of a New Collaborative VR Tool in Unreal
New Standalone VR Meeting Tool “BigRoom” Set for Release by Mid 2021 CHICO, Calif. –
Deployed in our collaborative VR environment via the HP Reverb G2 Omnicept Edition VR Headset, Claria measures:
• Heart Rate
• Pupil Dilation
• Eye Vector
• Cognitive Load
Parsed into easy-to-understand datasets, these biosignal readings give design and marketing professionals solid, analytical feedback, free of user preconceptions or external influences.
Claria’s ability to set up multiple configurations with our easy-to-use UI simplifies testing of geometry and materials, speeding up design decisions.
Designed to work with virtual environments, objects, and characters created in Unreal Engine, Claria enables designers to test high-fidelity visual representations of design iterations quickly and efficiently.
Best understood as a measure of working memory, Cognitive Load represents a user’s ability to remember instructions long enough or access memories sufficient to follow instructions or understand how a design or object works.
High cognitive load may indicate obstacles with design acceptance and adaptability. By combining a template for testing multiple, randomized design options, paired with savable test outputs such as graphs, images, and videos, Claria relays issues and opportunities before the first prototype, or the final project, have ever been built.
