Mohawk Group Product Launch
When it came time to introduce their newest flooring collection, Lichen, Mohawk Group, the world’s leading producer of quality commercial flooring, turned to Theia Interactive to create a unique and exciting VR experience for NeoCon, a design exposition and conference for commercial interiors.
Inspired by the multi-hued, multi-textured lichens found in nature, Mohawk’s new carpet tile flooring line features vibrant colorways and visually intriguing patterns.
In partnership with Mohawk’s design team, Theia built a VR experience which depicted the lichens found in a forest scene morphing into an office environment, outfitted in the new flooring offering. Show attendees not only viewed the environment in real-time, they were also able to click through Lichen’s various colorways and the three available patterns.
As an element of Mohawk’s revolutionary Visual Interactive Studio (VIS), the Lichen VR experience was awarded a “Best of Neocon 2017” gold award.
